Game Player’s Magazine consisted of numerous publications dedicated to various systems. The Game Player’s Encyclopedias were large volumes typically dedicated to one system (or at least one company’s systems) that contained summaries, reviews and strategies of lots of games. The contents wasn’t necessarily of great quality but it was a great place to look, pre-internet, to see what a lot of games were like in one place.
