    MegaCon 2012: Emerald Rose (2) – The Peat That Smokes The Barley

    Emerald Rose performs “The Peat That Smokes the Barley” at MegaCon 2012 in Orlando, Florida.

    Emerald Rose was a Celtic folk/rock band that played both original and traditional Celtic themed music. They were formed in 1995 and disbanded in 2018. As far as i know, you’ll have to search eBay or other places for used physical media as I don’t think it is still available new anywhere.     This video was recorded by me at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on February 18th, 2012. This is an original song that appeared on their 2011 album, Verdant.

    This video was recorded by me at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on February 18th, 2012. Different versions of this song appeared on their 2007 album Eternal Summer and their 2013 EP, Cartwheels.
