Obama Administration Will Sign Anti-Gun Treaty, Ignore Senate
Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday that the Obama administration would sign a controversial U.N. treaty on arms regulations even though there has been a bipartisan rejection of the bill in Congress. The concern that both parties have is that the treaty would lead to new gun control measures in the U.S. in yet another anti-constitution attack. Despite these concerns from both parties, Kerry told the U.N. in a written statement that the U.S. “welcomes” the next phase for the treaty. He also underhandedly affirmed that “we look forward to signing it as soon as the process of conforming the official translations is completed satisfactorily”.
Kerry says he is concerned with the “illicit trade” in conventional weapons which fuels violence and violates human rights… even though the Obama administration has given fighter jets to the Muslim Brotherhood as well as tear gas in order to oppress the Egyptian people.
