        Hugh de Pantulph married Christina Fitzalan about 1160? They had a daughter Emma and a son William. Emma Pantulph, daughter of Hugh de Pantulph and Christina Fitzalan, married Robert de Corbet. William, son of Hugh de Pantulph and Christina Fitzalan, had a son Ives de Paunton/Pantulph born 1200? in Shropshire, England. He married Aline de Verdun.         CHRISTIANA . Her parentage and marriage are confirmed by reading several documents together: firstly, under a charter dated [3 Mar/24 Jun] 1170, Henry II King of England authorised deduction from the FitzAlan estates of revenue from the manor of Badminton "which the king had assigned as the marriage portion of William fitz Alan’s daughter"; secondly, Hugh Pantulf donated his rights in the church of Badminton to Lilleshall abbey by charter dated to [1215/18]; thirdly, Hugh Pantulf names his wife "Christiana" in a donation to Shrewsbury abbey[71]. It is assumed that Christiana was William’s daughter by his first marriage because of her name, but this is not beyond all doubt. m (before [3 Mar/24 Jun] 1170) HUGH Pantulf of Wem, son of IVO Pantulf & his [first wife ---] (-before 28 Dec 1224).

        Hugh Pantulf, eldest son and heir of Ivo, succeeded him as the fourth Baron of Wem. He had been married at least five years before his father's death to Christiana Fitz Alan, daughter of William Fitz Alan who died in 1160 leaving his son in minority. Hugh and Christiana married in 1170.

        Hugh's wife, Christiana, was the daughter of William Fitz Alan, by his first wife, Christiana, niece of Robert the Consul. Hugh and Christiana had at least five sons, William, Ivo, Alan, Hugh and one with the initial of an R who was a Prebendary of Bridgnorth [Præstita-Roll, 12 John] Most likely, Emma, wife of Robert Corbet of Caus, was one of their daughters.
