BIRTH: Murrow Family website has birth in Kentucky County, Virginia. Attime of his birth it was Virgina before Kentucky gained statehood.G
BIOGRAPHY: Moved from Mason Co., Kentucky to Parke Co., Indiana in 1822. Received a Land Patent in Parke Co. on 4-10-1824 (E1/2SE Sect. 20, Twp 16-N Range 6-W for 80 acres). In 1843 they moved to Henry County, Iowa where they resided for one year before moving to Jefferson County, Iowa. In 1846 they obtained a 160 acre homestead in Walnut Township, Polk County, Iowa from the government, moving there in 1847.
