It was however, a beautiful magazine. It&#8217;s definitely something that I think every Saturn owner would have wanted. The March 1998 issue includes:<\/p>\n<h1>Features<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Grandia<\/b> &#8211; A detailed look at the massive RPG Grandia. This article takes you through the authors experience with this game so far.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Saturn Bomberman: Fight!<\/b> &#8211; A look at this pretty good update of the classic Bomberman. Unfortunately, U.K. residents were forced to import this one if they wanted it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Panzer Dragoon Saga<\/b> &#8211; Presented here as &#8220;one of the greatest Saturn game ever&#8221;. But it is a quest emphasizing flying on dragons after all.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Sega Rally 2<\/b> &#8211; An in-depth preview of this upcoming Sega racing game.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>House of the Dead<\/b> &#8211; Sega produced most of the best light gun games of this era. House of the Dead is one of those.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Burning Rangers<\/b> &#8211; Definitely a game with one of the more unique concepts. Though games involving fire fighting were not entirely unprecedented. I remember playing Rescue Squad on the Commodore 64 which wasn&#8217;t precisely about firefighting but it was about rescuing people from fires&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a class=\"attachment wp-att-30904\" href=\"\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=30904\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-30904\" src=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/OSSM029-004-741x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"741\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.megalextoria.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/OSSM029-004-741x1024.jpg 741w, https:\/\/www.megalextoria.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/OSSM029-004-217x300.jpg 217w, https:\/\/www.megalextoria.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/OSSM029-004-768x1061.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.megalextoria.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/OSSM029-004-1111x1536.jpg 1111w, https:\/\/www.megalextoria.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/OSSM029-004-87x120.jpg 87w, https:\/\/www.megalextoria.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/OSSM029-004.jpg 1440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 741px) 100vw, 741px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h1>Previews<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><b>DJ Wars<\/b> &#8211; Basically a DJ simulator in which you compete with other DJs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Shining Force 3<\/b> &#8211; While the Final Fantasy series may have been taking most of the spotlight, the Shining Force series was excellent and even better depending on your personal preferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Real Bout Fatal Fury Special<\/b> &#8211; SNK made some of the best 2D fighters around and this is a great one for the Saturn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Chill<\/b> &#8211; A snowboarding game. Not sure how good it was as it seems rather obscure and the screenshots don&#8217;t make the graphics look all that great.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Reviews<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Winter Heat<\/b> &#8211; This game features several winter sporting events including cross country skiing, bobsledding, ski jump and more. If you liked the old Winter Games series then you might like this one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>NHL Hockey &#8217;98<\/b> &#8211; Unfortunately, this conversion for the Saturn is probably the worst. The PC and PlayStation versions were significantly better.
