It is my favorite Zelda game but to be fair, it is also the only one that I have spent significant time playing. However, I am not alone as this is widely regarded as one of the best games ever made. It was first re-released as The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Four Swords on the Game Boy Advance in 2002. It is also available for the Wii, Wii-U and New Nintendo 3DS via the Virtual Console.
