Reports from PressTV reveal that somewhere around 3,000 troops have re-deployed to Iraq, and even reveal that 17,000 more could be in route. The thousands already re-stationed in Iraq are apparently camped out at Balad military garrison or the al-Asad air base.<\/p>\n<p>PressTV explains, \u201cWashington claims that the only US military presence left in Iraq now is 157 soldiers responsible for training at the US Embassy, as well as a small contingent of marines protecting the diplomatic mission.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Besides the role of U.S. troops, there are also many CIA operatives still working inside Iraq. (Remember that the embassy that was installed for the U.S. is worth $1 billion.)<\/p>\n<p>The redeployment would most likely come as a way to basket the spillage of violence coming from Syria as extremist groups move back and forth. This isn\u2019t the first time sources have reported on redeployment in Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>SLN published in the beginning of October that hundreds of Army Special Operations Forces were moving back into the country, \u201cJust last week in the fifteenth paragraph of a New York Times article was indication that Iraq\u2019s condition is only crumbling.
