A trio of conspiracy theory driven \u201chacktivists,\u201d the group consisted of Langly (Dean Haglund), Frohike (Tom Braidwood) and Byers (Bruce Harwood), all of whom were killed off in one of the final \u201cX-Files\u201d episodes, \u201cJump the Shark\u201d. Now, 13 years after that episode aired, Haglund confirms to Televised Revolution that the Lone Gunmen will return.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday they contacted us,\u201d Haglund announced to a crowd in Sydney, Australia. \u201cWe\u2019re shooting July 28. The Gunmen are in the final six!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fans reading IDW\u2019s \u201cThe X-Files: Season Ten\u201d comic books may not be quite so surprised that reports of the Gunmen\u2019s demise have been greatly exaggerated. It was revealed during the run that the trio is actually alive and well.
