Sadly, I recently learned that the Brevard Renaissance Fair will no longer be in Brevard County. Supposedly, it will still be nearby (and a 15 year lease on the location has already been signed) but exactly where has not been announced yet. Apparently the City/County/renfair couldn’t come to an agreement on the location it was held at in 2025 (or any other). It sounds like the City wanted engineering drawings for a castle-like structure that was built and the renfair wasn’t willing to pay the money that was going to cost (something like $100k) unless they could get a long term lease which the city was unwilling to provide. At least that’s my interpretation from the various news stories and accusations, lol.
