I assume VD0: is ASDG's RRD?

R/W errors on VD0: almost always mean RAM is full, even though VD0 is
not.  Of course it *could* mean you have some bad RAM, but I doubt it.
If 'info' says you have space on VD0 but 'avail' says you ain't got
no mo' RAM, you get R/W errors.

If you have tons of RAM, make sure it's the right kind.  If you
specified a particular kind of RAM when you mounted VD0, it will
only use that kind.
