Hmm.. by "real", I assume you mean a ctrl key in the middle-left-hand side
of the keyboard, and an escape key in the upper-left-hand corner. I have
the DataDesk, and the non-ADB version (for the Mac Plus) has no real control
keys, just an option and Clover key near the space bar at the bottom. No
escape key either, though I use VersaTerm, which does a nice aliasing
feature for the ` key. I use a Sun/3 keyboard all day, and while there is a
touch of culture shock on getting home, the Datadesk is *so* nice and
comfortable that it takes only a few seconds to get used to it (I'm up to my
high school speed of typing with the DataDesk).

We've got a Tangent Technologies keyboard in-house for the Mac+. It has a
real control key but no real escape key. THe user is expected to use the
ctrl key as a Clover key when using the Mac (they're equivalent to my Mental
KeySearch brain cells, anyway...).
