This is not talk.politics.misc, talk.origins or talk.abortion.

There is no need to post inflammatory remarks.  VI and Emacs are two
common alternatives for text editing in Unix.  Each has its advantages and I
don't need to list them all.  Emacs is very powerful and has a windowing
facility to allow multiple files to be edited.  VI is much more friendly
to a touch typist than Emacs because it is rarely necessary to leave the
letter keys except for escape.  With a good keyboard and a person familiar 
with most of the features of Vi, one can be very productive.

Keep the flames to talk.abortion and we'll all be happier.
