Message-ID: <1988May9.163729.534@utzoo.uucp> Organization: U of Toronto Zoology Date: Mon, 9 May 88 16:37:29 GMT A friend of mine is considering buying a UNIX-PC. Neither of us has had an opportunity to make a close-up inspection of one since she started thinking about this, and she has an important question: will the standard, off-the-shelf UNIX-PC run on 220V 50Hz power? Some computers just have a 110/220 selector switch that has to be set correctly, but others come in two versions with different power supplies. What's the story on the UNIX-PC? Reply by mail if you can, please; I don't normally read the unix-pc groups. -- NASA is to spaceflight as | Henry Spencer @ U of Toronto Zoology the Post Office is to mail. | {ihnp4,decvax,uunet!mnetor}!utzoo!henry
