Problem:
We have had instances recently when the DELETE key on a VT200
emulation window on a Vaxstation 2000 has behaved as a line terminator
   (RETURN).

Diagnosis:
It occurs after you have run $SET HOST/DTE tta2: from your vt200 window
and then exitted back to DCL with ctrl-\

Solution: $SET TER/NOPASTHRU

Explanation: The set host/dte leaves the terminal in pasthru mode.

Observation: If you $SET HOST 0 first and then $SET HOST/DTE you don't
             see any problem.
