I know that this has been discussed before, but I can't find it in my archives,
so here goes:

I am looking for one or more *good* utilities that will read tapes written in
EBCDIC and other odd dialects. Both public-domain and commercial products
would be interesting. I'd appreciate any leads you could provide.

I know that the DECUS SIG tapes have tape utilities on them, but the catalog
says *nothing* about what they actually do for you. I'd appreciate hearing
from those who have used these programs, in order to find out whether any
of them would be useful to me.

Thank you all.
