Such wholesale quantities of conjecture for such a trifling investment in fact. :-( Truscott 4.2BSD has the P_ZERO, P_ONE, P_EVEN, P_ODD arguments, and of course so does 4.3BSD. Neither version of v7 does, nor does any System V version, nor does SunOS. Xenix may well, although if it does then this was added by Micro- soft, since they were starting with the System VR2.2 VAX version.
