I need information about current research in constructing distributed
implementations of languages such as Simula, Smalltalk, and others. The only
such implementation I know of is John Bennett's  Distributed Smalltalk (see
his paper in OOPSLA 87). I am really interested in the problems posed by
inheritance in distributed systems.
