Apollo Computer has recently announced price reductions on its Series
4000 Personal Super Workstations.  The Series 4000 has a 25Mhz 68020
CPU, 25Mhz 68881 floating point coprocessor, PC/AT I/O bus and System
V and BSD UNIX.

A diskless 4000 with a 19-inch monochrome monitor and 4M bytes of main
memory is now $8,990.  The diskless color display and 4M bytes of main
memory is now $13,990.

Memory and disk prices were also reduced.  Memory for the Series 4000
is now $3,250/4M byte.  A 155M byte ESDI disk and controller is $4,500
and a 348M byte ESDI disk and controller is $7,500.
