Message-ID: <523@spar.SPAR.SLB.COM> Date: 6 May 88 23:02:53 GMT Distribution: na Organization: SPAR - Schlumberger Palo Alto Research Lines: 14 I would like information about the practical elements of building a audio and video switch box for home. I have a number of tape recorders of various types, and would like to be able to switch inputs and outputs around with lots of flexibility, but don't particularly want to use a patch panel. I have a Russound switch-box, but am running out of positions, and channels, and it has more cross-talk than I would like. I'd prefer to do it passively, if I can. In particular, specifics on types, and even brands, of switches, details on layout and grounding, and anything else necessary is desired. Pointers to available references are particularly useful. If there's interest, I'll post the responses. Thanks, much. ...{amdahl|decwrl|hplabs}!spar!faunt faunt@spar.slb.com
