I have stored two user profiles in it based on what the manual says. I used the cross reference included in the manaul for what the 1200 baud Smartmodem had for switches. The problem I am having is once I have it hooked up and issue an outgoing call it appears that the modem is port is opened (terminal ready light comes on) but no data (such as phone number etc.) gets passed to it (the receive data light doesn't flicker like it does with the 1200). Has anyone experienced these problems and if so could you please send me your solutions. Funny thing is, we bought Hayes because we thought it would be easier. Thanks in advance. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ray Smith | USnail: Suite 200, 9891 Broken Land Pky, Columbia, MD 21046 Analytics, Inc. | GEnie : rcsmith (301) 381-4300 | CIS : 72000,1111 | Net : ...!uunet!mimsy!aplcen!anagld!rcsmith =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
