I guess that high traffic newsgroups generate less response). I mentioned two books on programming the EGA/VGA boards (R. Wilton's Programmer's Guide to PC & PS/2 Video Systems and B. Kliewer's EGA/VGA A Programmer's Reference Guide). My comment was that the former (Wilton's) was "far superior" to the second. This was an inadvertent exaggeration. I do believe that overall Wilton's book is better (but you have to buy the disk - the listings are in light green!), but there is useful material in Kliewer's that is not in Wilton's. The bottom line is, I kept both books. I have no relationship with either author or their publishers.
