From article <8805051303.AA25402@ucbvax.Berkeley.EDU>,
by VBRANDT@DBNUAMA1.BITNET:

} I have heard that in the new "blitter" TOS roms, a bug has been fixed that
} limited the maximum size of any single hard disk partition to 16 MB. Now,
} partitions of up to 32 MB in size are possible.
}
} While looking at the WINCAP file provided on the hard disk driver disk, I
} noticed that there is an entry for the maximum partition size in sectors
} which amounts to 16 MB (and is marked "*** don't change ***").
}
} Am I correct in thinking that I would only need to double this value and
} then be able to create a 32 MB partition using the HDX partitioning option ?

No, you are not correct. The fatal flaw in your logic is believing the
rumor that the 16MB limit was gone. It is not gone; it's still there.

Please don't flame me for inaction. It took action for me to determine
that I couldn't safely remove the limit.
