Keywords: mapping function to keys, interesting files, descriptions Message-ID: <4681@ihlpf.ATT.COM> Date: 7 May 88 16:31:57 GMT Distribution: unix-pc Organization: AT&T Bell Laboratories - Naperville, Illinois Lines: 17 A while ago I installed a screen print program, hacked and originally provided by a helpful friend who told me that it was just put in place of the "sprint" file in the system and then the print key would access it. Of course! Now I was just wondering if anyone has a list of interesting calls in the system. What keys use which files/functions and which common software packages call what existing functions/files? Possibly this information exists in a manual, but I haven't read them all yet. One example that comes to mind is PaintPower. What functions or files does it use instead of sprint to print its greater-than-screen-size picture? I know where the filters are, but...? All interesting tidbits welcome! - Mark G.
