There should be no problems whatsoever (X10 and X11 listen on different ports).
We specifically packaged R2 so that it and X10 could reside on the same machine
without conflict.  There is also a protocol translator that can be used to run
X10 binaries with an X11 server (it is an X10 server that converts X10 requests
to calls to X11 Xlib calls and X11 events to X10 events). 

If anyone does have problems, xbugs@expo.lcs.mit.edu would very much like to
hear about it.
