Hi. I am looking for a tape backup program for a system V machine. It is
a V.2 version of Bell UNIX, on a DEC VAX. I know about the programs tar and
cpio, but I am looking for a program more akin to the 4.xBSD dump program.
If anybody out there knows of such a program, even if it costs $$$, please
send me info. To be exact, I need a program that automatically does incremental
backups of system V filesystems, either in the same way as dump, or
by walking the filesystem tree. I am also looking for intelligent utilities
to help automate the archiving of data from disk to tape, that is,
to decide that certain data has not been accessed in a long while, and
should be archived to tape.

I am also looking for tape library maintenance software.

Cost is not a real issue (that is, reasonable prices are acceptable)

Please respond to me, and if anybody else wants this info, I will summarize
to the net.
