One person tells me one thing and another something else. Heres the situation. I would like to place some Decserver 200s on a LAN located at a site about 50 miles away. That sites LAN will be connected to ours via a T-1 link. The devices that will connect the LANs most likely will be the Bridge Communications IB/3. Will the LAT protocol work over the WAN arrangement. DEC's release notes seem to indicate they won't, but I don't believe everything they say. Has anybody out there made this arrangement work? Please let me know by e-mail. I know I could use TCP/IP terminal servers and that may be an option, but since we have a Vaxcluster I like the semi- load balancing you get with the LAT servers.
