	There isn't a simple answer to that question, I'm afraid. The
answer depends on a lot of variables, among them how much money you want
to spend. I will note in passing that the memory on the serial line cards
was recently (Rel7.4) moved from 1MB up to 8MB or so.
	By the way, when Milo was talking about large DECNets, he meant
LARGE. NASA runs a DECNet (SPAN) which is international in scope and contains
a very large number of nets, so he's a bit of an unusual case.
