If they're the ONLY official source for Apple documentation, and you have to pay a membership fee, that's an inherent part of the cost of using your computer. It's rather stupid to tell people to live without it, if you can't get the documentation any other way. Computers are PROGRAMMABLE. That's one of the main reasons for buying one.
