Our graphics lab has recently been building up our
animation capability through the acquisition of a 3/4" Sony BVU-950
video tape recorder, a Lyon Lamb Mini Vas animation controller and
a Lyon Lamb ENC-VI RGB to NTSC encoder. Before we undertake development
of a software control program for the MiniVas, I thought it would be
worthwhile to ask the net if anyone has:

	- developed a front end for controlling the MiniVas from
a SUN 3/280, and would be willing to share it with us.

	- share any experiences with us on using some or all of this
	  equipment in producing computer animation.

To reduce the load on the net, please respond using e-mail.
If there is anything of a general nature, I will summarize and post.
