Subject: How can I access extended memory?

Can anybody help? I'd like to access extended memory, since most of the
new machines have built in up to 4MB, none of which is EMS type memory, I'd
like to access this memory directly. Since there are a number of virtual
disks available which use normal extended memory, obviously it is possible.
Are there any public domain VDISKS that I could get the source to?
I'd rather not re-invent the wheel and waste time, so any help people can
give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
