Path: utzoo!utgpu!water!watmath!clyde!cbosgd!ihnp4!inuxc!iuvax!pur-ee!j.cc.purdue.edu!agv From: agv@j.cc.purdue.edu (Dave Murrell) Newsgroups: comp.sys.ibm.pc Subject: Borland Quattro Review Wanted Message-ID: <5989@j.cc.purdue.edu> Date: 15 Dec 87 22:48:12 GMT Organization: Purdue University Computing Center Lines: 22 I'm considering the purchase of Borland's new Quattro -- a Lotus 1-2-3 clone/enhancement. I'd enjoy hearing from anyone with experience using Quattro (if indeed it has become available -- the flyer I received may have been announcing ether-ware, I don't know). Responses (both positive and negative in nature) are welcome, but *please* no rumors or unfounded opinions (eg. flaming the people at Borland, or Lotus in general). In other words, just the facts, ma'am. In order not to clutter the net, send responses via e-mail to one of the addresses below. If there are sufficient responses to warrant a summary posting, then I'll make one available to this newsgroup. Many thanks in advance, Dave ========== ARPA: agv@cc.purdue.edu UUCP: cc.purdue.edu!agv BITNET: murrell@purccvm
