Apple is being very reluctant in sending out documents about writing Print Drivers. I've spoken with 2 people at Apple, both of wish assured me that they would send me a copy of the technotes on this subject, and they never did. Many companies argue that if they use anything other than Apple's Print Manager, they will not be "using the standards." I say, offer a choice to the customer. Offer a choice on the menu bar for either the STANDARD set of printers or the custom set.. That would make everyone happy.
