I'm trying to write a program in awk and I'd like to use user-defined functions (as stated in "The AWK Programming Language"), but both the UCB and ATT awk's seem to be missing that feature. Does pyramid plan on updating at least the ATT awk to comply with the new release? It is officially part of Unix System V Release 3.1. (What release is Pyramid up to on the AT&T side?) ...Thnx for any info, ...Dave Alden ...alden%osupyr@cbosgd.ATT.COM --or-- alden@osupyr.UUCP
