I am sure that Larry spoke as a member of the net and not as an Apple representative, but I think that this is the proper order of things. As I see it, the net is for an interchange of information, and since an Apple employee probably knows a great deal about the workings of a Mac, it is appropriate for such a person to comment. The Magic Sac can in no way be considered competition to a Mac, so such comments cause no harm to Apple and can help a number of normal users.
