My question being, is there some > sort of subscription-management software available for the Mac? I do my subscription management with FileMaker+. It's currently somewhat primitive, but I keep an 'expires' field in the data record so I can tell who's supposed to get what. I also keep a 'last shipped' record that I use to track one time comps and other special shipments. It's awkward, but it works. My long term hope is to write a hypercard stack that'll do this for me and dump data out for various potboiler messages: mailing labels, renewal letters, pleas for money, whatever. By using HC for the data management and Word 3.01's mail merge facility, I think I can put together a good system. I don't know of any commercial system for the mac yet. chuq ---------------------------------------- Submissions to: desktop%plaid@sun.com -OR- sun!plaid!desktop Administrivia to: desktop-request%plaid@sun.com -OR- sun!plaid!desktop-request Paths: {ihnp4,decwrl,hplabs,seismo,ucbvax}!sun --- Chuq "Fixed in 4.0" Von Rospach chuq@sun.COM Delphi: CHUQ
