After removing all screws I basically just grabbed the edges and pulled/teared/stretched/munged until the damn top came off, ripping off half the skin on my fingers in the process. The plastic is molded in such a way that the top latches onto the bottom as though superglued, even when all screws are removed. If there's a really slick way to open the case I'd like to hear about it, too. Also, I'd like to know if you really can add a 68881 FPU. (I didn't think you could, but it looks like I was wrong, since AT&T seems to be selling 68881's for the 3B1.) Bob Wilber wilber@research.att.com
