I am running MicroPort with a beta DOSMerge and I have the same problem.
I also must say that the MicroPort DOS utils ie doscat, dosdir et all ahve
the same problem. They all just refuse to do anything with the DOS partition
on the SECOND drive on the CONTROLER. My solution was to give the second drive
to a single UNIX partition and use DOSMerge (Simul-Task) to get at it.
Since they both can use a UNIX file system it is not a problem. One cravat
is DOSMerge (Simul-Task) is slow to get at the UNIX/DOS file system.

Since both of these products come from the same port and are very closely
related this should be the case.

Hope this helps. Fell free to to contact me if I can be of further assistance.
