We are in the process of converting from 4.2BSD to 4.3BSD and have run into
a problem with RFS (a excellent system for the price by the way). If we
execute a program on a remote system we crash with a segmentation fault. This
problem was in the 4.2 version but there was a simple fix. In 4.3 it seems
to be slightly different and is caused by dereferencing a null ip pointer
in getxfile() in kern_exec.c (rather than in iput() as in 4.2). Before I spend
more time on this I thought I would ask other 4.3 sites that use RFS what the
fix is if it has been found before.

Thanks
