I got a lot of mail after i posted the "cheap hard disk prices" of the type:
"but does that hard disk work on the A2000?", so I think it is time for C-A or
CATS to publish a list of "compatible" hard disks for the A2000. Supposedly
the "prep" program that comes with the A2090 controller has a menu with a list
of "tested" drives (I am still waiting for mine, sigh). How about publishing
that list? Or is there anybody that HAS an A2090 and can run "prep" and give
us that list? Note that NOT being included in the "prep" list does not mean
the drive will not work. It just means that, if the drive is a ST506 or SCSI,
you will have to find out the no. of cyl, no of tracks, no of heads etc...
