Andreen & Associates, Inc. San Antonio, Texas Lines: 18 I have a friend with an ITT XTRA/286 ATW box. We tried to bring up XENIX on it and after sticking the initial disk in and "fd(4,0)xenix" (actually, just a) booting it ... blam! The screen shook a bit and the bell started making strange noises. And there it sat -- not even a Ctl-Alt-Del reboot would phase it. Any suggestions? Is this hardware not as compatible as one might hope? This box has 640K, EGA and an ST4038 hard drive. I'm booting from a 1.2M floppy. Thanks!! Jon -- Jon Boede ...!{gatech,ihnp4,ssbn,swrinde,tness1,utanes}!petro!jrb 512/599-1847 2555 N.E.
