To finish a project that I've been working on for some time, I will need to
write a low level (non-curses), terminally independent function for positioning
the cursor. I assume that this can be achieved using the terminfo routines.
However, I've read the 'curses and terminfo' sections of my manual about a
hundred times and have decided that I'm not anywhere close to deciphering the
language used.

Does someone out there in netland have any examples handy that would show a
neophyte how to use the basic functions in terminfo, especially tparm(),
tputs(), putp().

Thanks.
