Me too.  I would like to see symbolic links for using argc[0], like for 
compress (giving compress, uncompress, and zcat in one executable, without
aliasing).

I don't even need symbolic links across devices (since we haven't got a true
root/tree file structure)

Any chance of symbolic links, O mighty filesystem gurus?
