Hmm. I see by our friendly gMailer that this is going via Interbitgate.
It'll be interesting to see if it gets to anyone.

I am attempting to write a basic program on my GS: new ROMS, 1.25 meg. I'm
using ProDOS 8 v1.4 and when I run Basic.System get a title that says ProDOS
Basic 1.1A. Now, when I write a program in 40 column mode I have no problems,
but if I enter 80 column mode, and try to run the program, I am placed in
TRACE mode automatically. Typing NOTRACE stops the trace, but also destroys
ProDOS and I can't save. Does anybody have any ideas? I'm fairly certain I
never had these problems with an older version of Basic System, but I may not
be remembering properly.

Thanks in advance,

Bill Dickson.
