Try using other mailers on your system to receive mail from 'smail'.
We are using '/usr/bin/rmail' which was the original part of the mailer
that received mail from uucp. The only thing we have found that doesn't
work correct with this is the 'smail' aliases file be our mailer has one
also and we allow it to do aliases. One problem we still have, (from 'smail
2.3') is smail doesn't like to process dual address to local users unless
their is a ',' between the address and most senders still don't include this
because standard mailer don't need a comma. If anyone has fixed this, let
us in on a fix. Robert, recompile 'smail' with local mailer set to '/usr/bin/
rmail' and see if this doesn't solve your problems.
