GRAPHICS MODE Message-ID: <4279@garfield.UUCP> Date: Tue, 8-Dec-87 15:29:52 EST Article-I.D.: garfield.4279 Posted: Tue Dec 8 15:29:52 1987 Date-Received: Sun, 13-Dec-87 17:06:26 EST Organization: CS Dept., Memorial U. of Newfoundland, St. John's Lines: 16 Keywords: AMSTRAD GRAPHICS We have been attempting to run an AMSTRAD 1640 in graphics mode to emulate a TEK 4010. The program that we have tried is PC-Plot. While the vt100 emulation works fine as soon as graphics data is sent to the machine the screen first clears and then print lines that look like a tv with tha horizontal hold incorrectly adjusted. My own machine (a BBC-Micro emulating TEK-4010) shows the graphic perfectly with the same data. I suspect that there is somthing wrong with the way that the board has been set up. I know little about IBM clones and Herc. boards. I would be glad of any advice from the net that might solve our problems. Charles Loader charles1@garfield.UUCP
