for an extended picture environment, which can be used with TeX as well as
LaTeX, pick up the file 'pictex.tar' from june.cs.washington.edu in the
anonymous FTP directory.

It contains the .tex files for a package called 'pictex' which is simply
out-standing. Does arbitrary lines, graphs, etc. very nice.
