I'm sure a brave few will do it, but no simple adapter or tower board will do the trick. If you are still interested, and your soldering iron is hot, then order the A1000 Expansion Architecture manual (A1000 schematics) and the A500/A2000 Tech Ref Manual (A500/A2000 schematics) from CATS, and finally order one each 8370 (Fat Agnus chip) p/n 318070-01 from Service. Extract and discard your old 8361 (Agnus chip) and start working out the changes required to make your system work with the fat lady in charge. Inquiring minds eagerly await your results. Sorry to sound a bit twitty here, but the question has come up a number of times before, and the answer has always been the same, to the extent that we are permitted to comment on chips/products that have been mentioned, but not yet officially announced. -- George Robbins - now working for, uucp: {uunet|ihnp4|rutgers}!cbmvax!grr but no way officially representing arpa: cbmvax!grr@uunet.uu.net Commodore, Engineering Department fone: 215-431-9255 (only by moonlite)
