No, I do not want to apply, and I'm not including my resume'. After considering what software the FSF has already released and seemingly fully documented and that there really doesn't seem to be a *WHOLE* lot more that needs to be written (pieces of software, that is. A good kernal could be considered more than just any old piece of software) to get a bare bones system up. The hiring of a fulltime writer makes me wonder if some new, reasonably substantial, part of the project is nearing completion, or has been completed. I also haven't heard any recent reports on the status of the project. What's currently being worked on, how long until done, and what's not being worked on yet. And what's the current guess on when a bare system might be runable (or is it still to early to say?) --- Sid Grange ihnp4!chinet!sid, but that may change suddenly soon..
