I think that you will probably find that, if you were to put quotes around the domain in your "Local" file, your "xxxxxx" will probably be the BITNET gateway selected by pathalias. I haven't actually verified this but the quotes seemed to be the only unusual thing about the info for the gateway that the previous version of pathalias chose for me (pathalias takes soooooo long to run on these tiny 16-bit machines [with the port of pathalias which uses files instead of vast memories]) Tim Pointing, DCIEM {utzoo,mnetor}!dciem!tim P.S.
