Comp.sys.amiga has recently contained an exposition of a trojan horse
program, which they called a virus, that infects amiga boot disks. This one
is harmless, but virulent varieties could easily be created.

It is true that most specific trojan horse programs, once known, can be
defeated. Their power, like the power of the original trojan horse, lies in
their unexpected nature; that they are other than they seem.

No myth. Fact. Reality.
