I am going to ignore the normal compress mode "compress file" because MS-DOS filenames are too limited to work reasonably, and just have the program act as a filter. I got atob and btoa working in a bizarre mode (I had to cross compile one from Xenix and the other on MSC5, neither would work when compiled the other way). I hope to get this out this week, otherwise look for it around Christmas when I take my vacation. -- bill davidsen (wedu@ge-crd.arpa) {uunet | philabs | seismo}!steinmetz!crdos1!davidsen "Stupidity, like virtue, is its own reward" -me
