I recently noticed that the FSF had a position open for a full time
technical writer. No, I do not want to apply, and I'm not including
my resume'. After considering what software the FSF has already
released and seemingly fully documented and that there really doesn't
seem to be a *WHOLE* lot more that needs to be written (pieces of
software, that is. A good kernal could be considered more than just
any old piece of software) to get a bare bones system up. The hiring
of a fulltime writer makes me wonder if some new, reasonably
substantial, part of the project is nearing completion, or has been
completed. I also haven't heard any recent reports on the status of
the project. What's currently being worked on, how long until done,
and what's not being worked on yet. And what's the current guess on
when a bare system might be runable (or is it still to early to say?)

Safe sex is okay, just don't do it with a time lock vault at closing time.
