Folks,

In deference to folks who have to pay real telephone bills
proportional to the volume of received e-mail, individual users should
not send test messages to the list.

If you want to determine that you can successfully reach
info-apple, send a test message to me, info-apple-request@brl.mil and I
will acknowledge it, return the received copy for you to see, and help
you with any other tests.

Info-apple and info-apple-request are on the same host. If you
can reach one, you can reach the other. Pleaase use the *-request
address to determine that you're "getting out." I am quite sure that
most Arpanet and Milnet list keepers would agree.
