Path: utzoo!mnetor!uunet!husc6!rutgers!ames!oliveb!sun!wex@MCC.COM From: wex@MCC.COM (Alan Wexelblat) Newsgroups: comp.text.desktop Subject: Layout question Message-ID: <36030@sun.uucp> Date: 9 Dec 87 21:50:28 GMT Sender: news@sun.uucp Distribution: comp Lines: 33 Approved: desktop-request%plaid@sun.com Recently, I put together some pages which looked roughly like this: +--------------------------------+ | | | | | | | | || | | |--------------------------------| | | | | | | | | | | | | |--------------------------------| | | | | | | | | | | | | +--------------------------------+ That is, the page was divided into nine rectangles (with some margins on all sides and a little space between the rectangles). Each of the rectangles contained some text - all the texts were different and unconnected, though each used similar tab positions (eg line centered within rectangle). There were 11 such pages. What software/hardware would you have used to do this project and why? --Alan Wexelblat ARPA: WEX@MCC.COM UUCP: {harvard, gatech, pyramid, &c.}!sally!im4u!milano!wex "He's just a techno-twinkie with a mean streak." ---------------------------------------- Submissions to: desktop%plaid@sun.com -OR- sun!plaid!desktop Administrivia to: desktop-request%plaid@sun.com -OR- sun!plaid!desktop-request Paths: {ihnp4,decwrl,hplabs,seismo,ucbvax}!sun
