My 'experimental' Z-100 is is running at 10.6666666MHz using only the
'ALS' 8MHz upgrade ICs. It gets a Norton SI rating of 4.0. The only
problems are that I can't boot at that speed (must switch-up from the
motherboard 5MHz) and that Diagnostics reports failure of the RS-232C
ports and floppy controller (this system does not have a winnie).
Changing all the 'ALS' 8MHz parts to 'F' series yielded no effect,
as well as increasing I/O wait states from 2 to 3 and with mods to 6 and
8. I am working on it... If anyone has any suggestions...
