Oops, both leo@neptune.CS.UCLA.EDU (Leonid V. Belyaev) and psuvax1!fritzson 
(Richard Fritzson) have corrected me.

There is a text editor called TEdit available on the Xerox D machines.  I
haven't used it yet so I can't tell you anything about it.
