Collins CO Lines: 25 Greetings X-lings, I've been fooling around with the V10 edition of the X Toolkit and the provided program xedit, and I have a few questions: 1. Is there any way to have the backspace key do a back space (instead of echoing ^H) in the main editing window? I figured out how to bind keys for the small text edit widgets (by using the text.eventBindings Xdefaults entry to specify a binding file). What is the widget type for the main window? (ie. ????.eventBindings). 2. Is there any way to just rebind keys? (ie. leave the defaults active except for specific ones I want to change) 3. Is there a fix for the bug that causes xedit to dump core when you type a string into the message area? BTW, I'm running this on HP's product version of the X10.4 server. The xedit version number appears to be 1.1. Is there a newer version that runs on X10? -- Chan Benson HP Fort Collins {ihnp4|hplabs}!hpfcla!chan (303) 229-3892
