	*Adding* to posted cornering speed is not in accordance with the 
physics of the situation;
assuming (falsely but what the hell) that the posted speed refers to a 
centripetal (wow, better get this right, this is alt.flame) acceleration 
that is some policy-fraction of traction forces assumed available, the 
rational thing to do is to decide what policy-fraction you want to
use, and scale your speed by the square root of the ratio of these 
fractions.  Clearer than mud.
