In my research for this standard , I have uncovered TIP, which is Truevision
Image Processing from AT&T, TID or Translation Independent Data format for
images from the ACM, and TIFF or Tagged Image File Format from Microsoft ,
HP et al.  All these standards, and I only asked for a standard starting
with TIxxx. As a wise man (or wise guy) once said -The nice thing about
standards is that there are so many to choose from.-
