Since I'm currently using a new SE and 6.0/4.2, I'm becoming more and more
concerned about Apple's policy with regard to ROM bugs. I understand the
256K ROM's aren't quite totally devoid of such pests. Does Apple have an
official policy for addressing this? Are bugs simply "fixed" in new machines
as they are manufactured? If so, are said fixes available to earlier purcha-
sers? Or, is Apple just piling on patch after patch in new version after
new version of the ever-growing System/Finder? 

I think an answer to this question is sorely needed out here.
