With CMU PC/IP we are currently using, at least with telnet, the trick of defining a small window (216 bytes counting the tcp-ip overhead). The obtained perfomance is very low, and we cannot use tftp. We are certainly interested in testing your fragmentation/reassembly code to see the improvement. A.
