I ran into a rather odd bug/problem with AW 1.3 recently. I found that if I try to access (via List file...) a large subdirectory, AW would say that the directory Im after is "segmented" and treat it as if it was ("insert and press space..."). After pressing space a few times, I eventually get a very messed up listing of the directory. I get duplications (or triplicates or even worse) of the first few files in the subdirectory. I would like to be able to have larg subdirectories as it makes running a BBS and its maintenance much easier. I have >40Megs overall and dont mind using em, but I do mind having to restructure my system so that I can use AW (1.3) to list out my directories. It seems to be related to the number of entries. If I have over 50 (or close there abouts), AW will barf. Since this is near the max size of any root directory (I forget the actual number allowed in a root) I thought it may be an inherent problem/bug w/AW. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know a solution (other than not using directories larger than 50 or so entries)? Has this been fixed in newer revs of AW? Anyone? Bruce Bruce_Kahn%MAYTAG.CEO.DG.COM@RELAY.CS.NET
