Seems like an important > issue for an external drive. Considering two attributes of the BackPac 40, I don't think that it can be used anywhere but a Mac Plus. Because: 1) It needs a SCSI interface to run...and only the Mac Plus and the Mac SE have the SCSI in the right physical location. 2) It mounts on the back of the Macintosh...which blocks the fan exhaust vent in the Mac SE. (And before anyone points this out, I know that these comments may not apply to third party upgrades. I'm only talking about 'official' Mac configurations). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alan Takahashi *at* ...!{hplabs,amdahl,3comvax,ames}!bnrmtv!takahashi #All standard disclaimers apply# "When all else fails, try the boss's suggestion." -- Strano's Law
