I support (and wrote part of) this package.  It is called CCMD, and
does a bit more than COMND did.  There is no newsgroup, but rather a
mailing list.  Mail to:
	info-ccmd-request@cu20b.columbia.edu
will get you information.  Mail to:
	info-ccmd@cu20b.columbia.edu
will actually post to the mailing list.

There is also a blurb about the package in the September '87 issue of
;login: (from Usenix).
