I do not deny your right to call YOURSELF a bitch. That is YOUR prerogative. I am trying to point out that OTHER women (yes, there are other women on the net) might take offense to being referred to by an expression which should refer to a female dog. > They fought for that right, and are sure to flame you > for trying to deny them the right to degrade themselves the way > men have traditionally degraded them. Mark, YOU are the first. Propagation delay, I hear you say. Look at my path. I work at AT&T Bell Labs in Naperville. There are MANY women here who consider themselves liberated. I expect some of them read alt.flame- those that do were able to read my message the same day it was posted. None of them have responded. > > They're not my fellows, but they could very well be your women. > Mark, ???!? I think I'm supposed to resent this. It is called Personal Communication. Am I so unreasonable to expect people who want to know more about me to ASK? Please, anyone: feel free to send me E-mail. If it is of a coherent, reasonable tone, I will respond in kind. If it is rambling, incendiary, illogical and unkind, I may or may not be polite. It will depend upon my mood. ============================================================================= Andrew B.
