Unfortuantely, if you're not using a GS, it's not of much value, since it only converts to Super Hi-res. It does however, convert a wide variety, ranging from apple hi-res to Atari ST pictures. With Mac pics, the only problem is that it will only go as long as the GS screen is, 200 pixels, which for some Mac pics after compression, is not long enough. You can get around it though, by splitting the mac pics into more than one file, then loading the converted pictures into 816/Paint (need a 640 mode program that scrolls.) and use cut and paste. even
