Lines: 8 Keywords: /dev/swap This is a joke, right? If you had more memory you'd use it for virtual memory? Actually we had so DataRAM bulk RAM boxes. These looked like exteremely fast disk drives (the machine already had maximum physical memory). Performance tests showed that these boxes increased performance most when used for /tmp and / (in that order). -Ron
