The Free Software Foundation (you know, the GNU Emacs people) will distribute (soon?) a modified version of their C compiler which does C++. Their debugger GDB (a dbx-lookalike) knows how to handle it. I haven't used either of these so I have no opinions to whether they are in any way adequate. Just passing useful information along.
