I was going to sit back and let this one go buy, but I have a
story to go along with this topic. All those people who think
that it is their God given right to drive whatever speed they
like in the #1 lane for however long they like should be informed
of the problems that they *might* be causing.

To start of I would like to say that I have nothing but hate for
the idiots who drive on the roads in this country and in the U.S.
If you don't know how to drive, you shouldn't be out there on the
road adding to the already high traffic fatality rates. Stay home!

Back about 3 years ago I was visiting with some friends over the
Christmas Holidays. These friends had a 17 or 18 year old daughter
and the girl had not been feeling well that day. While I was over,
the girl started to choke. She had not been eating or drinking and
we could not determine why she was choking. Within a matter of
seconds she started to turn red and I decided that there was no time
to waste in getting here to the hospital. I put her in the car and
hit the highway at full speed. By this time it was around 10:00 p.m.
and there was little traffic on the road. I drove in the #1 lane at
about 90 - 100 mph. with my highbeams flashing to warn other drivers
on the road that I was coming up behind the quickly. I had several
F%$## idiots remain in the fastlane while I tried to pass in between
them and other drivers in the slower lanes. Some of the drivers on
the road had enough sence to pull over, although they must have been
wondering what the hell I has doing. The fifth or sixth car I
overtook was an OPP car. (For those of you in the US, that stands
for Ontario Provincial Police) The officer moved over the minute he
saw the highbeams flash and made no attempt to pull me over. He did
follow me all the way to the hosptial. For those who felt that it
was there place to drive 55 or 60 mph. in the fast lane, they almost
cost a young girl her life that night. For those who moved over when
I flashed I thank them for kknowing the rules of the road and how to
drive. In short, if you don't know the rules of the road or you are
not keeping up with the flow of traffic, stay to right, or stay home!
