Some time ago Brandon posted a BBS called UNaXcess. I have been running
it for some time, and recently switched from a small, slow 68000 system
to Xenix/386. I am getting panics opening a file called 'userind'. I
remember discussion of this about a year ago, but not the resolution.
The filename constant is getting clobbered in memory, but I haven't yet
found where.

If someone has solved this, please let me know. I sent several requests
to Brandon, but he is undoubtedly doing many other things. It doesn't
seem to be a Xenix problem per se, since I found what I think are traces
of it on the 68k, but it happens faster on Xenix. Obviously there is no
segmentation problem, since the 386 has the same flat address space as
the 68k.

All help gratefully received.
