While we are on the subject of uploading and downloading using Macterminal, I
noticed that the 2.X versions of Macterminal are SLOW processing xmodem frames.
I get an effective download speed of something like 1200/2400 bps even though
I am using a 9600 bps line. I did some experimenting with my copy of V1.1,
(fixed with the 0A78 patch - I use a fair bit of re-mapped keys) and found that
a possible contributing factor seems to be the autosave that Macterminal keeps
carrying out. After I went in and changed the number of ticks between saves
from 7FFF FFFF ie never I found performance looked a lot more comparable to
running at 9600 baud. How can I find the corresponding bytes to zap under
2.2 to try this fix there ? Is there any other way to speed up xmodem under
2.2, it is too frustrating to use at its current transfer rate.
