I have an interesting control problem; I want to issue two reads and a
write, and then wait until all io is done, or any one io is done. I have
managed to do this with several processes, signals, etc, but it is ugly.


If someone has an idea, please share it. This *must* work on V.2, would
be nice to have it work on V.0 and 4.2BSD as well.
