I send files back and forth between an ST and an IBM-PC quite often. I
assume the AT isn't all that different. It DOES* have a "standard" rs232
serial port, right? So, the null modem I use has more connections that
I usually need, but always seems to have the right ones for many varieties
of computer<-->computer (ie. no modems) connections. It's wired like this:

    1-------------1
    2-------------3
    3-------------2
    4-------------8
    5--/
    8-------------4
               \--5
    7-------------7
    6-------------20
   20-------------6

I hope this helps. BTW, I bought the null-modem pre-made.
