When turning right (since you're driving on the left) you turn as soon as the chance of not having an accident appears to exceed the chance of having one. Oncoming traffic thus needs to be careful to stay out of your way. Lane changes need not be signalled and seldom are. Posted speed limits can usually be safely ignored.
