I am the president of a corporation that runs a ddial (accessable free between 1am-8pm) at 512/829-1951. (Thats in San Antonio, TX) It is not a BBS per se, but is more of a CB Simulator that allows up to 7 users online at once. About all you can do is chat or send/receive short email. Bill Basham can be reached in Detroit between 3p-5p at 313/553-9460. There are several other bbs packages that will run on several ][ series computers on a Local area Network. As I understand it GBBS pro is alpha-testing a multi-user version, Rainbow Telecommunications (Austin, TX) has a modified version of proline, and other packages can be modified to go multi user, BUT, with the exception of Diversi-Dial, they all rerquire a SEPERATE apple for each line, and some may require a dedicated apple to act as a disk server for a common hard disk. ______ UUCP: {ihnp4 cbosgd sdcvax nosc}!crash!pnet01!pro-party!blake ARPA: crash!pnet01!pro-sol!pro-party!blake@nosc.mil INET: blake@pro-party.cts.com Blake Farenthold | CIS: 70070,521 | Source: TCX023 P.O.
