I believe that, if you check again, you'll find that the UNIX pc does not, in fact, run SVR3. It doesn't run real SVR2, either. It runs a sort of advanced form of SVR1. The latest version of the UNIX pc's UNIX is 3.51 - but that 3 doesn't relate to the 3 in SVR3.
