That "entire PC" can be had for under $1000 today.  In a few years, you may
be able to get it for under $100.  Now how concerned are you about devoting
an entire PC to the task?

Just to clarify, it is my opinion that multi-tasking *is* the wave of the
[near] future for micro-computers.  All I'm saying is that it isn't a sure
thing.
