Is anybody out there using the "vt100-128" terminal emulator that comes with
the CBM modem/1200?

"Common Sense" and "vt52-64" also come with the modem/1200, but I didn't
use them because I wanted to work in the 80 column mode. I have been using
the "vt100-128" to communicate with the Vaxen here, but I have not been able
to use "vi", apparently "vt100-128" does not completely emulates the vt100. Has
anyone run into the same problem? I have tried to write a termcap for the
"vt100-128", but I was unsuccessful. Is there a working termcap for the
"vt100-128" out there? If there is, would someone email a copy to me?
Is there a public domain terminal emulator that will work in the C128 80 column
mode with "vi"? Could someone send a copy to me? I am getting very tired of
"ed". I am desperate! Any help will be appreciated.

Asyou found out the vt 100 term with the modem doesnt support cursor
addressing... there is a prgm out in the semi public domain
on most major online systems.. I know for a fact its on Genie ...

called micro vt 128 which supports the addressing needed here.. I am using i
I use it just for coming here as the xmodem transfer and the stability of
the buffer are suspect
