Then my parents gave me a Minolta AUTOFOCUS camera for Xmas, with a built in flash. You cannot set the settings manually on the Minolta. The one thing I don't like is it doesn't like to focus closer than about 3 feet. It makes a beeping noise which means the camera is too close to the subject. I like having the built in flash a lot. I don't like having to remember that the batteries might go dead. Overall, I like the autofocus Minolta. I am not a serious photographer. I like to take pictures of my friends and of places I visit, so the simpler the camera is to use, the better for me.
