I heard that the LISA was developed without Steven Jobs' support.  The story
is that the people running the LISA project told him he wasn't good enough
to write code for it, so he said "the hell with this, this is my company", and
went off and started the MACINTOSH project.

Any truth to this rumor?  If true, it will probably have an impact on future
software development support for LISA.  Anybody know what the latest is on
MACINTOSH?  Also, what was the Apple III, and why did it die horribly?
