I am told that the trick of saying that your magtape contains no
data, only programs, no longer works.  They are wise to that one
now.  Personally, I tend to just stuff magtapes down under the
dirty socks and say nothing.  If I am carrying them under conditions
where this doesn't work, I say that (a) they are my personal property
and (b) they are blank.  Life may well be more complicated if you
are a vendor rather than just an attendee, though.
