It seems to me that all politeness and courtesies are fast disappearing.
Parents think it's "cute" that their children call adults by their first
names. This breeds illmannered and impolite people. Respect must be
taught at an early age or it will never learned. Another subject that seems
to be disappearing from our society is etiquette.
