Running 6/16/83

Twirling around, the world a blur.
Moving in no set direction,
Faster and faster until time ends
And being free to do so.

I run and wish to experience it all.
Everything a once
To absorbed what life has to give
Forward ever spinning.

I lose myself in this way
Find the new world and old
Running from hill top to valley.
Cool is the shade of the mountain

The leaves whisper to me
Life abounds in the trees
Birds sing their life songs
I am filled with life.

But onward I must run
There is so much more
I must find Steve to tell him
And show him the life.

Together we conquer the world
Time is no unfriend
I want to grow old, it is knowledge
To spend forever with Steve, perfect
