Message-ID: <1640@ihldt.UUCP> Date: Mon, 23-May-83 09:41:34 EDT Article-I.D.: ihldt.1640 Posted: Mon May 23 09:41:34 1983 Date-Received: Sun, 29-May-83 08:49:09 EDT Lines: 14 Someone mentioned earlier that firing your zerostat on the dust cover periodically will keep harmful static charge down. That sounds like a reasonable thing to try -- I'll have to get one. Until then I'll leave it open. As for the harmful dust that gets sucked onto the album while it spins, (an interesting notion -- I think I'll try some smoke and light tricks to check it out.) I'm sure everyone out there washes their entire collection regularly. I use mild dish soap and warm water. Meanwhile, for those who close the "static charger" on their table, you may have a surprise one of these days. Fear not. The queuing mechanism is not stuck. ihldt!dbg
