I would rather see Miss and Mrs. die out. Makes it easier to eliminate
discrimination based on marital status -- used to know someone who
worked for an engineering company that would not hire unmarried women
(in Florida). Then, maybe someday, we could combine Mr. and Ms. into
something new -- Mt. Or get rid of the silly thing altogether. Isn't
there some rule against Americans taking titles?
