I would like to use a personal computer to communicate with TTY devices
currently used by the deaf. These use the Baudot code and I have the
conversion of this code to ASCII. The things I want to know are:
    a. Do these use carrier tones like standard modems?
    b. Are the send and receive frequencies the same as the
        standard for computer equipment?
    c. Is timing, etc. the same as RS232 standard?
    d. Baudot is a 5-bit code. What size "frame" is used for
sending it ... how many data bits, start bits, stop bits,
        parity bit?
