Last summer a friend of mine and I drove from Boston to L.A., where I let him off and I continued on to Vancouver, B.C. and back to Boston. Along the way back I drove to Yellowstone National Park. The road to Yellowstone (at least the way I went) involved this little two lane road through the hills and valleys in the area. Apparently, a few days before I traversed this road, something happened to the road such as lightning hitting it, a large boulder falling on it, or something, as there was a gaping 10 foot wide, 10 foot long, 4 foot deep hole on my side of the road, causing me to divert into the lane of oncoming traffic. I had been forwarned, however, by the rather intriguing road sign: _ / \ / \ /ROUGH\ < BREAK > \AHEAD/ \ / \ / -
