Lianna is good. My husband thought Sayles was stacking the deck a bit by giving her such a jerk for a husband, but it's still a good film. I was glad to see the woman from "Seacaucus Seven" again -- there's something about her that I like very much. I hope to see more of her in the future, even if I don't remember her name. Just last week, John Sayles's third film reached Champaign. "Baby, It's You" is a look at the relationship between a nice girl from New Jersey who wants to be an actress and a greaser-type guy who wants to be like Frank Sinatra. The soundtrack is great -- Sinatra, Paul Simon, Springsteen, .... fits well with what's happening on the screen. Often funny, but with some seriousness. 3-1/2 out of 5.
