When you go to a computer show, you usually have to sign something to
get your silly little name sticker. Some shows dont let members of the
general public, or people under 16 who arent working for a computer company
or others in, as well.

What burns me is that after the show is over, my phone keeps ringing off the
hook as every headhunter in the world is phoning me. It would be tolerable
if only the UNIX headhunters were phoning me, but I get the "What do you
know about -- COBOL,VMS,ADA,VM,IBM 360 Architecture,Ethernet..."

For about 3 days, its non-stop -- "No, I dont know anything about X. No,
I dont know anybody else who knows anything about X." I have already learned
not to go near the car raffles and tv raffles which are all head hunter ruses
to get more names, so somebody is selling the entrance forms to head hunters.
