Back when I was studying physics & fluid flow & Bernoulli's principle I redall earing that traffic flow was treated as fluid flow through a pipe.  Traffic
jams being like constrictions in the pipe.
Out here in Calif they call them freeways, but around rush hour there isn't
much free flow.
Anyway, the flow eq's are used. I don't remember them off hand.
