Re:  your name and headhunters:
1)  No need to give anybody your phone number.  Tell them it's unlisted, 
or that it's none of their business.
2)  If possible, give a phony first name.  I have most junk mail sorted
by phony first names.
3)  Complain to the trade show organizers (I've never tried this)
4)  Perhaps complaining to the Better Business Bureau about the particular
unscrupulous headhunters will cause the headhunter to reconsider tactics.
