Mister Ron Flannery stated that children learn respect by observation
and not by being *taught*.

 BULLS--T!

Children can mimic what they see but must have things like respect
explained to them. After they understand the meaning, then respect can
be demonstrated to them. If one does not know the meaning of a word or action,
how can one then understand what they see?

Some people make lousy teachers and even worse parents. No wonder our
children have trouble relating to the adult world.
