I'll put in a vote for the Superfox.  It, too, has done a good job of
telling us when we are under surveillance, with the additional benefit
that the antenna is mounted in the grill and the receiver is 'way down
in the console.  When my father's Escort was stolen, the thieves got to
it by taking a wrecking bar to a window.  In his own driveway.

On the topic of fuel situation, by the way, our Plymouth Sapporo got
the best gas mileage of its life on a trip from Seattle to Bozeman last
summer at an average speed of 75 and gas mileage of 26.  On our 60mph
jaunts about town, it's closer to 23.
