I have a tempest game and when I heard the tempest bug I had to try it. It requires you play till your score is between 180,000 and 200,000 points and your score ends in 46 (I think this is the right number). Then dump the game by letting everytning kill you. Now wait till the tempest logo appears in attract mode (You know TEMPEST growing from small to LARGE). Not the first time it appears but the second time and when it is around half size, press one of the one or two player buttons. Blammo! you are now in DEMO mode allowing you to play at any level at all! I heard Atari is offering new roms to fix machines if you want them ($$ of course) and they are pissed at the author who stuck in the bugs. Phil Hochstetler Sequel Computer Systems, Inc.
