I got vtroff to run on an 11/34 without too much trouble; I think we were
running V6 at the time but I don't remember for sure.  This was several
years ago, and I no longer have that version around (we have a Vax now),
but offhand I don't remember any problems except that there was a bug in
the font-caching code, when it tried to free up space.  That code is
probably never called on a Vax because of the huge address space.  I think
there was also a problem about sidebyside assuming a wide (22") device, but
that had nothing to do with the CPU.
