I would like to invite you to comment on contacts you had with leading
manufacturers of ham radio equipment (like ICOM, Kenwood etc.).
I will summarize and post to the net. You might esp. comment on the amount
of time it took to get a response.

You might have contacted a manufacturer for
	1. service
	2. warranty service
	3. technical enquirery
	4. proposal for improvement
		etc. etc......

The reason I ask this question is twofold:
	1. These are problems which are never discussed in the ham
radio magazines - may be because of fear to loose advertising
	   money.
	2. I bought a VB 2530 K (1W/25W 2m amplifier for the TR2500 handeld).
The BNC cable was missing (it is listed in the manual).
I wrote to Kenwood telling them that they should send one - for
free of course. I received a bill for .50...........
I think it is not my problem that they keep their manual consistent
with what they intend to deliver.
