I bought an '81 Mazda GLC 2-door from Valley VW, Aurora. It has no
squeaks, rattles, or drips. It required one service call - dirt in the
carburator stopped it from idling. Valley worked on it one day, charged
$25, and when it acted up the next day, took it in again and disassembled
the carb once more (all new gaskets) at no charge. At 1930 lbs and 68 hp,
it is no screamer but it has good back seat room and with the hatch
back, is a good utility econobox. It gets 32 MPG locally and 38 MPG on
the highway. A minor complaint: the rear seats don't fold down flat.
I am, needless to say, well satisfied.
