Andy Myers problem with system lockup is most likely
one of two problems:

1) Accidentally hit CNTL-1. This would cause a temporary end to screen
display until it was toggled again. (Similar to CNTL-S on UNIX).

2) Overheating. This can be prevented by proper ventilation, or
replacing the old 16K RAM cards with a newer 48K card that uses less
power/heat.

Either hitting system-reset, or using a product like OMNIMON as a replacement
operating system should help in the former. In the case of the latter,
I guess the only choice is to keep it cool.
