That's right, no typo, $149.88!! The store was a small outfit in Arlington, Mass. by the name of Video Horizons. I called to verify the ad. They confirmed the price and gave me the impression that Commodore would be dropping prices such that a normal price for the C-64 would be about $250. They (Video Horizons) had managed to get an "advanced delivery" at the new price and were able to offer them for sale while the rebate offer was still in effect. They are also offering both the 1541 Disk Drive and the 1525 Dot Matrix Printer for sale for $269.88. Sigh........... After hanging on for months, I finally broke down two weeks ago and got my C-64 for $299 after rebate. Oh well...... Ted Baker (TBaker.micro@BBNF)
