Here and there tidbits come through. In the meantime, I am entertained by the debates. My enquiry now is prompted by a small statement I read in an article a little while back. Someone stated that Jews practiced baptism by immersion. I was not aware of this before. I would like to know when a person is baptised and by what authority and for what purpose. I know that most Christian religions baptize by the authority of the Holy Trinity. Thanks in advance for any help. pjj
