A friend of mine (Dave HSU (415) 543-3036) is running into the following
problem, in order to meet deadline, he is willing to reward $1000 to the
first one to solve his problem by 10-am tomorrow morning. The problem
is with subroutine calls in BASIC. In the interpret version it works
and when he trys to compile, it always ended up with offset=0. Here are
the codes:

with BASIC under pc-DOS
def seg=&H400; offset=&H20; call offset(dummy)
	This works.

in BASCOM he has
def seg=&H400; offset=&H20; call Absolute(dummy, offset)
	He gets offset=0 no matter what he defines it to be!

Good luck!

P.S. Just in case you have problem with the telephone number, try I.B.
