Heck, I'm not happy when anyone competes with me and wins
(I'm talking real competition, not friendly games).  I don't
mind if someone is better than I am at something as long
as they don't try to make me feel bad about it.

Competition is an attempt to prove something to your opponent.
Proving self-confidence, which means accepting your limitations
and being proud of your abilities, is not an easy thing to do.
I applaud anyone, regardless of gender, who shows some sense of
their own abilitites.  A secure individual is one who is not
threatened by failure, be it at the hands of a member of the
opposite sex, a child, a computer, or just fate at work.
No one can beat me at being me, and that's all that really 
matters, doesn't it?
