J. Lines: 11 I at least have an algorithm for this, although I haven't gotten around to implementing it. Rather than keeping a list of aritcles which have been seen, find the first newsgroup that the user sub- scribes to in the list of newsgroups that the article was posted to. If that group is not the current group, don't show the article. In order to handle the "junk" and "control" newsgroups, the article should be shown if the article wasn't posted to the current newsgroup at all. Also, the article should always be shown if abs (the "ask absolutely" flag) is set. Kenneth Almquist
