   As a skier who has "wasted" money on GoreTex clothing, let me assure
you that it is a good thing that GoreTex has not made it to the motorcycle
market (or if it has, I haven't seen it either). GoreTex is one of the
most over-rated and over-priced materials on the market. There are many
cheaper and equally effective materials... try a good lined nylon riding
suit, or even your average rain slicker stuff. Don't get caught paying too
much for something because it has a popular name.
