My wife recently had a baby and I stayed home 2 weeks home to
help out. After doing cooking, laundering taking care of the
older kid, etc I can really say how much of a job it is to be
a housewife. We men take them for granted and their job remains
a thankless and unpaid(in terms of wages). Now I can appreciate
her work more than ever.

P.S. A side note. My wife is nursing and suddenly she felt she
did not have milk and the baby is going hungry. Upon doctors advice
we tried o supplement with formula. But the baby totally rejected
the formula. When we told the doctor, he said of course nothing
beats the taste and the nutrition of a mothers milk. I really
feel sorry for infants who are deprived of this by their mothers
for often (if not always) selfish interests.
