Newsgroups: net.cooks There is a very good recipe for steamed bao in "The Chinese Cookbook" by Craig Claiborne and ?? Lee? (I am not sure of the second author). The book is a trade paperback with a yellow cover. (about 10 years old). This book was mentioned a few weeks ago in this news group. The recipe starts by making a very good barbecue pork which is then used as the filling for the steamed buns. Douglas
