I just tried out my new Fortran compiler from Radio Shack
on my new MAX-80 (running under LDOS). The compiler seems
to work. But the linker crashes (rebooted system when done),
and the editor added garbage to the end of the file when it
closed the file!!! I can guess why it doesn't work. Trsdos 2.3
is unlike, LDOS, NEWDOS, or even Trsdos 6.0 (clone of LDOS?).
But you say, "I thought R.S. sells LDOS now?" They do, but why
should they worry if any of their other software runs under it.
So caveat emptor, y'all.

P.S.
The MAX and LDOS are really very nice, it's a shame good
software is so hard to come by. Let's hope Lobo keeps their
promise, and develope their own software.
