Anybody know where I might obtain a reference work of some sort
describing medieval weapons? The AD&D Player's Guide goes to
great lengths describing various spells, but only has measly
tables of hit points etc for real weapons. In those tables are
listed all sorts of things with names I have heard of but can't
place. Can't remember what they look like or what they're good
for. I tend to like to go beyond simple hit points and length
and cost, making my choice of arms consonant with other 'non-metered
' factors in my character's make-up. I'm kind of new at this,
and have consequently not picked up such info along the way yet.
Is there an encyclopedic reference? Can I mail-order it?
