I'm new to this group, and have some of my more *uh* esoteric poems to submit for your thoughts and such....Since I spew out many of them I shall be breaking it up into 4 parts (since I only have 4 sequences as of this moment.) Digression: A sequence is meant to be a poetic 'viginette' in that the poems contained in a sequence should be considered not only for their in- dividual content, but for the overall message contained therein. I hope you like them! Sequence I : a nightmare. ------------------------------------ doors, mostly closed. let me in. ------------------------------------ the colors overlap the edges; the picture bleeds. It seems there's just too much to portray on a small canvas. Life. ------------------------------------- "We have enemy launch!" "Launch counterstrike!" "Enemy launch is unconfirmed, Sir!" "Damn it! I said LAUNCH!" "yessir" ------------------------------------- Paranoia? He questions, glancing behind. ------------------------------------- --- BOOM --- ------------------------------------- -- Dave Taylor ..sdcsvax!taylor
