I have found something that is not exactly a bug with expire, but a
problem nevertheless. If you are running expire with the -a option from
crontab, you have to log in as root if you want to run expire and archive
something because the oldnews directory structure all belongs to root. All
I did was chown everything in oldnews to the news account and make expire
SETUID, since the spool directories should belong to it anyway.
