TAC in Atlanta, Ga, produces the IRMA board (~$1200)
that is a coax connection between the IBM-PC and the
3270 controller. The board provides all the functions
so that the PC looks like a 327x terminal. A terminal
simulator is provided (and I have tried it) so that it
acts just like a 327x. Routines are also provided for
those who want to access the information in the display
buffer. This allows for creating some fairly complex
interface software.
