     Speaking of humorous road signs....

     Last summer a friend of mine and I drove from Boston to L.A., where I
let him off and I continued on to Vancouver, B.C. and back to Boston.  Along
the way back I drove to Yellowstone National Park.  The road to Yellowstone
(at least the way I went) involved this little two lane road through the
hills and valleys in the area.

     Apparently, a few days before I traversed this road, something happened
to the road such as lightning hitting it, a large boulder falling on it, or
something, as there was a gaping 10 foot wide, 10 foot long, 4 foot deep hole
on my side of the road, causing me to divert into the lane of oncoming traffic.
I had been forwarned, however, by the rather intriguing road sign:
