Last year there were a lot of Type I Standling Liberty Quarters
discovered that were counterfeit. ANACS was flooded with them
for a while.

(1) Does anyone remember if they were 1917, 1917-D or 1917-S?
(2) Does anyone still have the coin work article which described
     how to detect the counterfeits?

Many thanks. Roger Frank
