I have tried out a c-64 using the Vicmodem and the Data-20 80 col cartridge.
I was using it to talk to a PDP 11-70 running UNIX vIII. It ran very well
at 300bd, and was quite legible on the ~$125 monitor. Keep in mind,
however, that the c-64 does not support { } | ~ _ or ` and that English
Pound symbol is in the ASCII slot which normally is used for \.

If anyone has a nifty idea for correcting these bugs it would certainly
improve the utility of the c-64 as a terminal.
