The problem with net.flame is that I always agree with both
sides of any arguement.
	The cause for most accidents isn't that people are speeding;
the problem is that they cannot drive in the first place. These
people are deadly at any speed, but when they go at a large speed
difference from the rest of the cars, thats when trouble starts.
Going 20 mph faster than the average speed requires lots of attention,
and going below the average takes guts( getting rear-ended by a
tail-gater.)
Another major problem is that the autos are designed to be
driven by little old ladies who like understeer. This make the car
flip out at high speed when the wheel is jerked. Also, the cars are
made fuel efficient at 55, so there is no power at that speed. Since
my car will rev to 10,000 rpm, I can cram it into 3rd at 80 mph, but
your car will explode if you try that. In a tight squeeze, the only
option available is to panic stop, which will probably spatter someone
all over the back of your car.
My rule on the freeway is to stay away from anything over 2
tons and any sized pickup since these have death-trap handling
characteristics. In a small car, your only hope is to avoid the
maniacs.
