I believe that that episode where Kirk speaks of "no beach to walk on"
was "The Naked Time". He is affected by some alien chemical, and is
raving on about how he can't have "a beach to walk on" with any live
women, since his duty is to the Enterprise. As Spock drags him out of
the conference room back to the bridge, Kirk mumbles something to
himself about having "no beach to walk on".

I would have to check the books to be sure about this; does it
sound right to you?
