Henry O. Beall was a charter member of Smyrna Baptist Church. He was instrumental in organizing the high school at Smyrna; all his children attended it; it was later consolidated with Hazelhurst High. He lost his sight when a young man, bu tremained an influential power in his community and remained faithful to every trust until death. He was a planter. The children were all born on his plantation near Hazelhurst. Found on 1900 and 1910 census records of Copiah County MS.
