His father d. in this county in 1852 and his mother in Howard Co In about 1873. Mr. Hobson has been a resident of Parke Co. all his life. His pursuit has always been that of a farmer. In 1855, he was marr. to Mary A. NELSON, a native of England, b. July 16, 1835. They have 7 living children: Alice J; Edward M; Lydia E; Mary I; Margaret R; Agnes E; Laura M, and one deceased, Elizabeth E.
