He is possibly Moses Wall Keeney (born June 15, 1797, died August 1, 1890
or August 1, 1888) son of Moses Keeney born 1766 in Cabin Creek, Kanawha
County, Virginia or Greenbrier County, West Virginia/ died 1840 at Cabin
Creek, Kanawha County, Virginia and his wife Francis Harris Keeney born
1758. Moses and Francis were married August 11, 1789 in Cabin Creek,
Kanawha County, Virginia. One of his wives was Mary D. Huff or Mary
Pauline Huff born in 1803 or 1808. This Moses was a miller by trade and
probably would have known Christopher Shaffer/Shaver, father of Phoebe
who was also a miller. More research is needed to learn if this Moses
Keeney was the husband of Phoebe Shaffer/Shaver.
