WFP p 64 says of Merion and had issue under 18 in 1710. He was given land by
his father which was purchased of Richard Davis 300 acres.

There is a David Evans of Cumry Twp Berks Co that may be this same David son of
David of Radnor. Information on this family comes from Gary Watson of CO.

!WILL: David Evans date Oct 27 1763 and proved Nov 26 1763 to son Eleazer tract
of land in Heidelberg whereon he now lives during life and at his death to his
sons John and David. To son David, the plantation whereon I now live with
farming implements, household goods, etc. To son Nathan 2 tracts of land in
Cumry. To son in law John Henton the tract he now lives with piece of meadow
reserved from that devised to son David paying 10 pds to exec. to son Amos,
the lot he now lives on in Reading and 2 other lots in said town. To dau. Sarah
wife of Solomon Bromfield 50 lbs. To John Pugh 5 sh and to his children by my
late deceased dau. 50 shillings to be divided. Remainder to sons Nathan and
David, also exec. witness Jacob Keek, Caleb Davis, John Price.

Per The Historical and Biographica Annals of Berks Co, PA by Morton Montgomery 1909 says Rev. Thomas Jones first settled in the Great Valley of Chester Co, PA where he took up land and in 1711 organized the Great Valley Baptist Church and in 1719 the Montgomery Church. In 1738 a number of these people, all of Welsh extraction, members of the Great Valley and Montgomery Baptist Churches removed to Lancaster Co, PA settling along the Tulpehocken Creek, near its junction with the Schuylkill river and also southwardly along that river, oppositi what is now the city of Reading including Thomas Jones and wife, David Evans and wife, ...Rees Thomas and wife, etc. These 21 persons requested to leave to be constituted into a distinct society, which ws done on Aug. 19 1738 and the new church joined the Philadelphia Association of Baptist Churches.
