! bp.in Boxstead 2 Jun 1614. St Botolph's Register, Colchester (near
Boxstead), co.Essex,ENG, has the following marriage record: Thomas Wells of ___
single, and Abygall Warner of ___,single, the 23rd Jul 1630." The names of
the Parishes and places to which they belonged are illegible. Thomas Wells
came from ENgland in the "Susan & Ellen" in 1635, and a house lot was granted
to him in Ipswich in that year. Abigail came with his father 2 yrs later.
Thomas WElls took the freeman's oath in Boston on 7 May 1637. He died in
Ipswich 26 Oct 1666. Abigail survived him. Her will, made on 22 Jul 1671,
mentions 3 sons and 5 daughters. For accounts of some of their descendants see
