In the Chancel of his Church, his eldest son, Henry, erected a murial monument to his memory and that of his wife Margaret. The inscription is in Latin, translated it reads: BIOGRAPHY: Christ prayed for me. It is enough. He wished that where He is I also should be. This has come to pass.
