Soldier in the Johns ton County Court Records and he and several others were dismissed in the county records (they called it a court martial) as being "too old". Since the records gave the company and person in charge, I recently sent in a Supplemental for h im to DAR. It was turned down as the North Carolina Military Records state that no one over fifty could enlist....so his dismissal was, in their words, a "moo t question" as he never should have been allowed to join in the first place. Sorry! He would have been my 13th ancestor. If anyone is a descendant of his daughter, Tabitha, and Timothy Duck, Timothy Duck is a proven DAR Patriot and I have a supplemental for him. I would be glad to share this information if anyo ne is interested.
