Thomas Branham, son of Caron Brannon and Morgave (Margaret) Bryan. Soldier in the Johns ton County Court Records and he and several others were dismissed in the county records (they called it a court martial) as being "too old". Since the records gave the company and person in charge, I recently sent in a Supplemental for h im to DAR. It was turned down as the North Carolina Military Records state that no one over fifty could enlist....so his dismissal was, in their words, a "moo t question" as he never should have been allowed to join in the first place. Sorry! He would have been my 13th ancestor. If anyone is a descendant of his daughter, Tabitha, and Timothy Duck, Timothy Duck is a proven DAR Patriot and I have a supplemental for him. I would be glad to share this information if anyo ne is interested. Kathy Hoolihan Married/ Related to: Catherine Croucher PRIVACY FILTER Children: 2.
