Among other transactions he sold 1400 acres to Francis Morrison. In
1652 he patented two tracts (440 acres and 450 acres) which he gave
to John Jr in Northumberland Co, Virginia.
John Taylor and sons were prominent men in England. They operated
Merchant Taylor Cloth-making Guild and Merchant Taylor School.
