![]() Born Jul 21, 1900 at Pittsburg, Kentucky, died Jul 23, 1958 at Covington, Kentucky, 58 years, cause of death: Colon Cancer, buried at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky Apprently Alec, as he was known, wasn't much of a family man. Estelle Warren once said she never heard him say a kind word about his wife, Mayme. His son, Alexander J. Warren aka Bill, once suggested that his dad seemed almost afraid of buying a home. They always rented and had chances of purchasing but Alec always backed away. Bill remembers when there were scuffles in the neighborhood with other boys his father would threaten to beat him, and I suppose his brother, if he didn't go out and fight. On his death bed Alec told Bill that he was the best of the boys. Also, he seemed to have no regrets about his life saying he always had a good time. Reportedly Alec was a womanizer. He frequently would go to Louisville to watch baseball. He had a burbon most every evening.
