"Joshua Trueblood.....(October, 1853)
Joshua Trueblood was born March 6, 1766, in North Carolina, as was his wife, Mary Henley, on June 19, 1771. They were part of the Quaker families that came to Washington County in 1814. His parents were Abel Trueblood and Jemima Scott. Joshua Trueblood died October 26, 1853, at the age 87 years, 7 months and 20 days. He, along with many other Truebloods, is buried in the Blue River Cemetery in Washington Township. His wife died July 3, 1856, and has only a marker beside him; she is buried at Honey Creek Cemetery, Vigo County, Indiana. Joshua had prepared his will January 22, 1846, and it was probated November 15, 1853. He lists as heirs his wife Mary, and the following:
