Peter Anderson, a Prominent Baptist Preacher To the "News" Uncle Peter Anderson, an old and esteemed citizen and pioneer of the mountain died here last week. Rev. Peter Anderson was an ordained minister of the Primitive Baptist Church and had been for nearly 40 years. He leaves a wife, two sons, William and Thomas J. Anderson and three daughters. Your correspondent is not acquainted with the daughters, but all are married ladies and well respected. His last words were to his wife when asked if there was anything in his way, he said: "There is nothing in my way and it will only be a little space until I will be happy, happier than any mortal ever could be on earth. I'm so happy now I feel like shouting but I haven't got the strength." He wanted all to live so they could meet him in glory.
