Roxton. Surviving are a son, Robert Earl Rhoades of Roxton; 9
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchi ldren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by 2 sons, Haro ld & Bryan Rhoades.' This is also

in the Minter community, a son of G.E. (Mike) & Nina Graham Rhoades, he
attende d Howland & Roxton schools & married Myrl Tabor on May 27, 1940.
He was a far mer, rancher & cotton buyer. He was a member of the Roxton
United Methodist C hurch, a former president of the Roxton ISD School
Board, former mayor of Rox ton, a former member of the board of directors
of First Bank of Roxton & had served on the Lamar County Water Supply
District. He was a former member of t he Lamar County Appraisal District.
Surviving are his wife; 5 daughters, Mrs. Ben (Georgia) Martin of
Garland, Nina Ruth Rhoades, Mrs. Mac (Betty) Hutchin gs & Mrs Billy
(Elizabeth) Basham, all of Paris, & Mrs. James (Mary) Walker o f Roxton;
his mother of Roxton; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 8
s tep-grandchildren & 12 step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert
Rhoades of Roxton. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Rhoades
Fields, in 196 9.'
