Text: On April 14, 972, he married the Byzantine princess Theophano. Note line 147-20 of Ancestral Roots has a footnote that she is probably dau of Leo Phokas. I don't know if that makes her a "Princess". Note that Romanus's wife is also Theophano which fits with this relationship supported by others in rootsweb.
