There are two children listed, Mary Jordan, age 17, and Rubin, age 9. I believe Rubin may be my gg grandfather, Ruben Samuel Jordan, born about 1851 or 1852 in TN. I cannot locate anything to connect him to the Menefees. He indicated that his mother was born in AL. Any info out there? One of my gggggrandmothers Lucinda Menefee Laughlin was sister to this John. If you will look at the web site and at the McCollum pages you will find more info about the Menefee. Also Giles county has lots of census from 1820-infinity,well actually 1900. But he is related to my family.
