Dr. R. A. Ravenscroftsat up with him all night. At dawn he pulled the sheet up overour body and told father to go for the undertaker and left.Dad, according to Mother's story, after washing his face, andcomforting Lille, (she was losing her third child!), he startedto walk to do what had to be done. Mother said, "He had juststepped off the porch when I noticed a movement under the sheet,I called to youfather, told him to tell Dr. Ravenscroft andhurry!"
