Suffolk, assuming his surname from the lordship of Ufford in that shire, became Robert de Ufford. This Robert was Justice of Ireland in the reign of Henry III and again in the reign of Edward I. He m. Mary, widow of William de Say, and, dying in the 26th of the latter king, was s. by his son, Sir Robert de Ufford.
