Narrative

Oscar Poole was murdered by a rogue Texas Ranger, L. T. Fuller, while getting a shave in a barbershop in Orange, Texas. His wife, Louvenia Bland, was expecting at the time of his death. The murder is said to have had something to do with a political rivalry in Orange between Judge George F. Poole, Oscar' father, and his enemies.
