From Murrow surname board: am attempting to locate the parents [They areNOT Joseph & Lavina (nee Blunk) Applegate - I have documentation that supports this.] of Clarinda Applegate (David's wife) and would appreciate hearing from someone who has documentation of David & Clarinda's marriage. I had the source as his Civil War pension file. A pension she received as a widow...but have either misplaced it or misread the "guardianship" file for her children. It appears she received a widow's pension until her second marriage to James Booze in 1868 for the guardianship papers make several references to it.
