Note: 66th Monarch of Ireland. Among the curious stories relate d by the ancient Irish historians is that of leading a flee t to the Mediterranean, landing forces in Africa, and attac king Sicily. He then proceeded to Gaul and married Caesair, daughter of the King of the Gauls, by whom he had 22 son s and three daughters. Only two of those sons had issue. Of these, Cobthach Caolbhreagh was ancestor of numerou s Irish families in Meath, Ulster, and Conacht, as well of the kings of Scotland. The following line is quoted fro m J. O'Hart from his account of Irish families.Marriage 1 Caesair [--?--]
