Narrative
"It is said they had fifteen children, but only six lived to be named. There are gaps of several years between some of those six births, so it is very possible there were other births during those years of which we have no knowledge. The story has been passed down that John Patrick came alone to the United States and Mary Ann followed later with some of the children. According to the years of their births, only two of the six children would have been born in Ireland, and that is confirmed on their death or burial records."
