Thanks for the link. I've also watched quite a few videos of folks
repairing devices, countless times it's just the caps. It looks fairly easy.

I will read up on the multimeter to learn. I hope it's not too difficult. I
just feel sad to see this little machine sit without seeing the light of
day. I want to give it a second life and it could be a nice way to learn a
new skill. So many electronics end up in the landfill because people don't
know or can't be bothered to fix things.

I hope to avoid the landfill scenario. These machines are just too special.
It would sit on my shelf collecting dust instead. I will take the plunge
and get a multimeter and a decent soldering iron and a wick.

If you would like to recommend a brand name or device I will look for it on
NewEgg because they actually ship to Poland.
