I first got into the Commodore world with a VIC-20 that I paid over 200.00 USD for (at the Navy Exchange on the base I was stationed on back in 'the old days')and a tape drive.

I have some time to spend with my grandson now, who, even though his mom has got him a fancy xbox game machine and a windows machine, is still more thrilled about my pictures of the Commodore and the history of the Commodore. He saw a special on tv about it.

I was going to try to find the best emulator I could and set it up for him on my computer, which is running Windows 7 ultimate.

Bottom line is if anyone could recommend a good starting point for this project I would appreciate it, as I have not been able to locate a working Commodore 64 and tape or disk drive.
