Having conquered Mount Everest, expert mountain climbers Saruwatari Gorou and "Lostman" Jack F. Woodbridge set their sights on becoming astronauts. This anime program follows their separate attempts to earn a position at NASA and make it into space. Lostman gains useful cockpit experience as an airplane pilot, while Gorou learns how to handle heavy machinery as a construction worker.

I love how seriously Moonlight Mile takes science and engineering, very refreshing. I also like the main character, Gorou comes across as a real person. And the animation is very well done. Just wish the story was a little tighter.

Very recommended.
