I have had some experience with logging into Unix from my Atari 800 from
home. The program I like the best of the 4 different one that I own is
The Terminal Emulator from APX. It allows you to use either 40 or 80
column display by mapping the characters into a scroll mode. By hitting the
shift and the START keys at the same time, when it is in 80 column mode,
you can scroll the right-most characters onto the screen.
