Except he looks nothing like Harrison Ford. :-\

From ComingSoon.net ...

Is This Man Our New Han Solo?
-----------------------------
Is Alden Ehrenreich our new Han Solo? Would that it
t'were so simple...

Although it's still not a sure thing, there are
reportedly strong signs that Alden Ehrenreich, who
recently starred in Joel and Ethan Coen's Hail, Caesar!,
has emerged as the frontrunner for the lead role in Phil
Lord and Chris Miller's 2018 Han Solo Star Wars Story
film. Deadline has the news, reporting that official
word of Ehrenreich taking the role may very well be on
the horizon.

Ehrenreich's credits also include Woody AllenĀ¹s Blue
Jasmine, Chan-wook Park's Stoker and a pair of Francis
Ford Coppola films, Twixt and Tetro. You can check out,
in the player at the bottom of this page, Ehrenreich's
hilarious performance in Hail, Caesar! with a clip from
the comedy. In it, Ehrenreich plays a young western star
in 1951 Hollywood, who has a bit of trouble fitting in
after the studio casts him in an entirely different
genre role.

The screenplay for the Han Solo movie is written by
Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan and will focus on how
young Han Solo became the smuggler, thief, and scoundrel
whom Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi first encountered
in the cantina at Mos Eisley. It has also been confirmed
that Chewbacca will also be a featured character in the
film and, while unconfirmed, it's likely that The Force
Awakens' Joonas Suotamo will reprise the role.

Slated for a May 25, 2018 release, the Han Solo movie
will be executive produced by Lawrence Kasdan and Jason
McGatlin and co-produced by Will Allegra. Rogue One:
A Star Wars Story, meanwhile, hits theaters December 16,
2016.
