Spoilers!
(well, maybe)
so
let
insert
some
space
just
in
case
I recently read a news item to the effect that some deleted scenes from The Force
Awakens show Maz Kanata, the CGI restaurateur...
using the Force to collapse a roof and stuff like that.
The scenes were deleted because it was decided she was not needed to accompany
the heroes in a later part of the movie.
This could mean that Luke Skywalker _can_ follow in the footsteps of Obi-Wan
Kenobi, instead of having to also be Yoda... perhaps while Luke will accept that
he can't run away from the conflict, due to Kylo Ren turning evil, he won't trust
himself to train Rey, but will instead refer her to Maz Kanata?

...who explicitly states that she's no Jedi in TFA...
And where could one watch these deleted scenes? Why no link?
