Recently I watched the season 7 episodes. In these host segments, Pearl
makes a perfect live-in mom from Hell. But because Pearl is being such a
pain, I could not help but feel sorry for Dr. Forrester. Oddly enough, I
felt that way even in the series finale, when he cut the SOL loose, but
became transformed into a star child for his efforts.

That was the point, wasn't it?

My favorite was when Pearl was sick in bed, and kept calling out "CLAYTON?
CLAYTON? CLAYTON? CLAYTON? CLAYTON? CLAYTON? CLAYTON?"

That was pretty funny. I thought that if Pearl pushed Clayton any
further, he would have climbed into the Umbilicus and escaped to the
Satellite of Love.

He did the parody of Suspicion (1941) with the poisoned milk.
