The official web site (http://www.mst3k.com) recently added a section
called "Genesis" that includes early clips. One cannot help but notice
that the KTMA clips were all taken from the first three episodes - the
ones that are *not* in circulation. Is this a subtle hint that these
episodes might eventually be distributed in some format?

I suspect the overall entertainment level of those episodes for the
casual viewer is so low that that will outweigh the historical interest
of completionist MSTies. So, I doubt it. But I'd guess there's a good
chance of bits and pieces being released as extras.

You mean, like the KTMA host segs that show up on the "MST3K Scrapbook"
bonus on the current Box XV?

(About which you'd think we would expect to hear more discussion by now,
given the number of fans who weren't around to have seen "Robot vs. the
Aztec Mummy"...)

I doubt they'd be in a box set but how about download only?

And, by the way, at MST3K.com they have added a new "Genesis" button,
which has KTMA clips, photos and memories by Jim.

I just wanted to let everyone know that MST3K.com has this new "Genesis"
section that has some clips from the KTMA days.
