While I'm still stumbling around the selection of a proper
name for my site, I have dug around the archives and put up six
fine, fresh MiSTings originally sent to Web Site Number Nine between
1996 and 2001. Well, it takes time to get organized again.

For those who loved pointing at Sonic the Hedgehog and
laughing there are *three* masterpieces of the genre only one of which
I had anything to do with. First up:

_Blood And Metal_, by David Gonterman, as MiSTed by Shay Caron.
In this story pretty much everything happens to someone I can't help
but think we're supposed to take as representative of the author since
they share a name and whatnot.

On Web Site Number Nine this attracted a respectable 42
evaluations with a mean of 8.29, so you know it's measured.

Next in the Sonic line: _Chaos Race_, by Adrian Tymes and
Alessandro Sanasi. This was MiSTed by the powerful team of editor
John Berry and underlings CDM, MacMog, Joseph Nebus, Satyajit Phanse,
Jennifer Berry, and Shay Caron.

For a change of pace this time around Knothole Village is in
peril from something or other and the irritating Snively disgraces
himself. Also very, very many subplots spin themselves out.

And finally for Sonic stories this time, _The End Of Mobius,
Part I_ sees someone finally take responsible action to bringing about
the end of Mobius, although sadly not before SonicFan was able to write
about it.

The original story is by David Bulmer, and I think on the last
Dibs List there was The End Of Mobius, Part II scheduled to be done any
time now. I don't know if that part was also to be done by Shay Caron.

To cleanse your palate with a bit of general fiction that as far
as I can tell isn't particularly a fan of anything consider Zach Wilson's
Chrysalis Book One: Trial By Fire, as MiSTed by someone identifying him-
or her- or otherself only by 'DStalker', which I suspect may have been an
assumed name.

It's served with a short, a stirring letter about saving America
sent to alt.tv.prisoner because, well, and there you have it.

If that's not enough about America being in peril, then why not
try out one or both of the conspiracy theory/paranoid rant type products?
Consider if you will John DiNardo's prophetic _America Under Seige: New
World Orde Coup D'Etat_, with the short, Stavros N Karageorgis's gigantic
cloned Spock of an essay _Inalienable Rights: What Does That Mean In
Practice?_

It's MiSTed by Melvin `no sig' Pollack, so do only use it for
entertainment purposes.

And finally on the roster is the eternal short-wave radio
question _Feminism: Mask For Marxism?_, whose source material goes all
the way back to 1994 and comes back to us by way of Chris Cornell:

Be warned: there's people with passionate feelings about the
United Nations and education goals in there.

I do intend to dig more pieces out of the archives and put them
up here; I'm also very hopeful that there'll be a nice set of original
MiSTings to provide too, just in case you were worried.
