I recently did some trading of software with someone I met through a bbs
in michigan. All of the prodos disks he gave me were Prodos 1.1.1 This is
a bit strange since there was no visible difference, and that he had it on
all of his disks, not one had 1.0.1, or whatever the first version was.
Upon talking to a local computer hack, we came to the conclusion that all
this guy did was change two bytes on the disk so that it said 1.1.1
I think this guy did this to say that he had the latest Prodos, and was
glory seeking of sorts.   To those who get the 'new' Prodos, beware that
this has happened to me, and Unless it has an Apple sticker on it, it may
not be true.
