I just bought a 512k Macintosh last night. Of course I love it already,
but I wonder if any of you out there in NetLand know of a board/connection
for an IEEE-488 (1978) bus. Also known as GP-IB or HP-IB. I would like
to connect it to Hewlett-Packard peripherals, such as a ThinkJet or
LaserJet.

Excuse my ignorance, but could there be some way to convert from an RS-432
high speed serial interface to HP-IB? Perhaps a human sacrifice or two?

Further, does anyone know of a driver (or some other path) to write to the
micro-floppies in Hewlett-Packard's Logical Interchange Format (LIF)? I
understand this may be a problem since Apple uses variable speed drives.
Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
