This short review is from the February issue of the UK's MacFormat
magazine (yep, it takes about three months to get to New Zealand shops!)

Angry Birds Star Wars HD
------------------------
The Empire continues to expand.

We should have seen this coming. The most dominant game
of the modern age, and the most enduring fantasy film in
living memory; Angry Birds Star Wars was inevitable. In a
sense, what you're getting here is Angry Birds Star Wars
Cosplay HD, with birds dressed in Rebel garb, pigs as
Stormtroopers, and the like.

The Obi-Wan bird uses the Force to blast stuff away, and
the Han Solo bird is armed with a blaster that unleashes
three shots that ricochet off mirrored surfaces. These new
components add scope for complex level design, both on the
ground and in space. There's still a bit of fling-and-hope
going on, but it feels more inventive than other recent
Angry Birds efforts.

Verdict: 3 stars out of 5
Good fun as ever, but the new gimmicks mean the
Force is only strong-ish with this one.
