Alan Horn, Disney Studio Chief, has now given an official timeline for the
upcoming new Star Wars films. Episode VII will be released in 2015, with
Episodes IIX and IX being released at two-year intervals after this. The
stand-alone films will be delivered in the "off years" in-between.

Now it remains to be seen if these will actually be real "Star Wars"
movies, or more of Hollyweird's hopeless in-name-only idiocy that turns a
once-great franchises into a hideous, confused messes.

No, it couldn't. The Prequels did that.

Seriously, whatever Disney does to Star Wars, GL has already ruined
before them. I can not see how Disney could make this worse in any
way.

Very, very easily. As a (hopefully) silly example, they could decide there
aren't enough "strong" female characters, and so change Darth Vader into
being Luke's mother, or any of a bazillion other idiotic, ill-fitting
changes ... and yes, Hollyweird DOES do such idiotic things. :-\

Nah, I would prefer Annie Skywalker to the prequels any day of the
week :)

It'll be a musical as well ... "Tomorrow, tomorrow, I'll turn to the Dark
Side tomorrow ..." ;-)
