God Save the King, FCUG members and guests! :)

The Fresno Commodore User Group has its next meeting from 11 a.m. to 2:00+p..m., Sunday, Sept. 18, at

Panera Bread Restaurant
3590 W Shaw Ave. (corner of W. Shaw Ave. and Marty Ave.)
Fresno, CA 93711
(559) 271-0104

Discussion will center around the U.K. groups, the Lincoln Amiga Group and the Amiga North Thames club. Also we’ll talk about AmigaKit in Cardiff, Wales; the Dienstagstreff C= Club in Bochum, Germany, and the Home Computer Museum and the Netherlands Commodore Show in the Netherlands. Not everything will have an international flavor… we’ll also talk about the October Amiwest Show in Sacramento, California.

This month’s software has a royal emphasis! We’ll try out the classic C64 games, Flunky and Spitting Image (both with Queen Elizabeth II in them), and other royal games, Split Personalities, Di’s Baby, and Henry’s House (thanks for the suggestions, friends on Facebook’s Commodore 64/128). Other classics that we will have on hand – Scarabaeus, Scarabaeus II Preview, Cabal, and the updated Elite which is now flicker-free! Not to forget the updated copier application – Fast Hack ‘Em 9.9.

We also have newish items, like the German game, Knueffel; the new Orange cartridge and its video player, and the Kaos multi-color picture. For the C64 and the C128, we have Quest for Lubok, a new text adventure.

The Amiga 600 returns with its 4 gig CF card drive full of applications.

Truly,
Robert Bernardo
