Ten years ago this month I published The New Apple II User's Guide after
working on the book for the past 2 years. At nearly 800 pages, it was a
whopper! The book has typically retailed for $25, though occasionally I've
put it on sale.
Over the past decade, 1,475 copies of the book have sold, including one sold
today. This number reflects the size of the Apple II community, and while no
doubt many readers who bought the book a decade ago are not as active with
the Apple II any more, it still gives some sense of the number of users out
there.
So let this figure, nearly 1,500 books sold, encourage current and future
Apple II projects: there is a market for your work, be it hardware,
software, another book, or something related.
Thanks everyone who has bought the book or helped out with it.

Thanks for the book and the memories David. My copy sits on the shelf with Weyrich's "Sophistication and Simplicity" and Isaacson's "Steve Jobs" directly across from the Apple //e and the Apple IIGS in my somewhat cluttered Office and Lab.
