Actually it wasn't half bad. They used Japanese actors.
They've taken a lot from different parts of the series
and put together, so it works. I guess I filled in a lot
of the "blanks" myself. But overall, it was a respectable
translation to live action. The CGI was pretty good,
except for a couple of glaring scenes.

If I were to criticize, I'd say that perhaps some of the
individual character behaviors/reactions were a bit too
close to the anime. Some stuff that works in the anime,
doesn't seem so realistic when performed by real people.

Kudos goes to Yasuko Matsuyuki for being an outstanding
villain. :)
