Does anyone have any recommendations for some really good games for
the Mod I? I noticed that the Apple has some very fancy role playing
games such as Wizardry and Ultima but there are no equivalents for the
TRS-80. The problem is that there are no user's groups in my area so
I have no way of exchanging software or learning the latest gossip.
Thanks in advance,
John Sievers

If your looking for adventure type games, I understand Infocom Inc.
has released its complete series of ZORK games for the Model I. I picked up
a copy of ZORK I at my local RSCC just the other day and haven't played with
it yet. (Not really into adventure games myself).
As for arcade type games my favorite is CATERPILLAR from Cornsoft.
Again I don't play many games, but I must confess to have spent a few hours
blasting away the centipede with this one !!!!

Infocom has a series of excellent role-playing games, all or most of which
are available for the good ole Model I. They run about $25-$50, I think.
